GLTRverse shimmer oil is a dry-touch body oil that gives your skin a fine, wearable glow. It is formulated with cosmetic-grade glass and lab-grown mica, not craft glitter.

What makes it different from other shimmer oils?

Most shimmer oils use craft glitter that sits on top of the skin, migrates onto surfaces, and reads cheap up close. GLTRverse is a custom formula built around a dual shimmer of cosmetic glass and lab-grown mica, held in place by a triple silicone barrier. The result is a glow that looks refined, stays where you apply it, and does not transfer onto fabric.

Is this a custom formula?

Yes. It was developed from scratch, not white-labeled or sourced off a shelf. The shimmer ingredients were chosen for how they catch light. The silicone barrier was chosen for transfer resistance. The base of jojoba and meadowfoam was chosen so the oil wears like skincare rather than a coating.

Why glass and not craft glitter?

The shimmer in GLTRverse is made from cosmetic-grade glass and lab-grown mica, the same materials used in high-end makeup. These catch light more cleanly than plastic craft glitter, which flakes, migrates, and reads cheap on the skin. Glass gives a finer, more luminous result.

What ingredients does it contain?

The base is jojoba oil and meadowfoam seed oil, which condition the skin. Vitamin E and bisabolol calm and protect. A triple silicone layer locks the shimmer in place so it stays on your skin and off surfaces. The formula is alcohol-free, paraben-free, and vegan.

Will it transfer onto my clothes or sheets?

No. Once the oil dries down, the shimmer sets on your skin. It will not transfer onto fabric, clothing, or bedding under normal wear.

Is one shade more intense than the others?

Yes. Stardust has the highest shimmer intensity of the three shades. It is a pearl-white that shifts to violet in the light. Halo and Amber are softer and warmer, suited to everyday wear.

Does it have a scent?

All three shades carry a soft vanilla scent.

Is it suitable for sensitive skin?

The formula contains bisabolol to soothe and vitamin E to condition, making it suitable for most skin types. If your skin reacts easily to new products, do a patch test on the inside of your elbow before full application.

Can I use it on my face?

This product is formulated for the body. Recommended areas include the collarbone, shoulders, legs, and arms.

Can I use it while pregnant or breastfeeding?

The formula is gentle and topical. We recommend consulting your doctor before introducing any new skincare product during pregnancy or while breastfeeding.

Is it vegan and cruelty-free?

Yes to both.

Wearing It

How do I apply the oil?

Start with two to three drops. Warm the oil between your fingertips and spread onto skin, or apply directly using the GLTRverse brush. Build up gradually. It is easier to add more than to remove excess.

Why use the brush instead of my hands?

The brush distributes the oil evenly and eliminates streaks and fingerprint marks in the shimmer. Most customers who try it prefer the brush over applying by hand.

How do I remove it?

Your regular shower and body wash will remove the oil completely. No special cleanser is needed.
